The black jersey from the Hackney Women's FC x Hackney Empire kit, celebrating 125 years of Hackney Empire and 40 years of Hackney Women's FC, Europe's longest-running LGBTQIA+ football team.
Designed by London College of Fashion student Daphne Scotto Di Carlo, winner of a paid student design competition run by Wood Street Walls CIC, Hackney Empire and London College of Fashion. The design draws on the typography and print styles of historic Hackney Empire playbills and tickets, and carries the words "Playing with Pride Since 1986".
